How Under Decking Works
Step 1 — Panels Install Below the Joists
The aluminum panels attach to a carrier system that mounts below your deck’s framing. This creates a finished ceiling that’s invisible from the deck above and clean-looking from below.
Step 2 — Water Is Captured and Redirected
When rain hits your deck boards, it passes through and is caught by the under-decking system. The panels channel that water toward a perimeter gutter and out through a drain spout, meaning away from your patio, foundation, and landscaping.
